In the Beginning
Katie Swenson established Handfashioned Porcelain in 1979 at Saturday Market, Eugene, Oregon’s weekly handcrafted marketplace.
After expanding her business to sell art in several galleries around the country and other venues in Eugene, Katie has returned her focus to selling at the Saturday Market.
While much of Katie’s creativity is expressed in large sculptures and figurines, the hallmark of her work is the skill to hand sculpt very intricate and delicate rabbits, frogs, faeries and other elements of nature and whimsy into her work.
